ellwood associates Welcomes Neil Barratt

ellwood associates inc is happy to welcome new member Neil Barrett to our team of professionals. Neil will be working in the General Support Department and closely with Manager & Senior Consultant, Aaron Finlayson.

Neil is a trained Computer Support Specialist and has a diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology. As well, he is qualified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MSCE) and a CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

In his previous roles Neil has experience with both large companies and small businesses. As a Technical Systems Analyst with the Royal Bank of Canada, Neil worked with a technical support team to provide a test environment for RBC staff to train and test new applications. He also provided desk-side support for the maintenance of office desktops and servers.

During his time with Epson Manufacturing Canada, Neil was able to take on a leadership role in a team that provided support for the manufacturing and refurbishing of Point of Sale (POS) printers.

Currently, as well as working with the ellwood team, Neil also manages his own small business, Barracom, which offers break/fix support to small businesses. The needs of this industry can often be very complex due to the dynamic nature of the services available. Neil uses this to his advantage to greatly develop his expertise in providing technological support to the entrepreneurial market.

In his new position as a member of the General Support Department, Neil is eager to enhance his skill set with a new proficiency in the legal market in which ellwood excels. Neil is looking forward to working with a new team and tackling the exciting challenges within this information technology arena. Neil’s preliminary work at ellwood associates has been nothing less than superb and we foresee a great partnership ahead.

In his spare time Neil enjoys spending time with his family and traveling with his wife.
